Welcome to Confronting the Line!
This book traces my personal journey as a longtime leader inside the personal development industry. When I was confronted with credible information about abuse and exploitation within the organization I had dedicated much of my adult life to, it created an unavoidable invitation to look more closely—at my own participation, its impact on my personal and professional life, and the “truth” (or limits) of the mission I had believed in.
That inquiry continues through Confronting the Line, where my guests and I examine the often blurry boundary between meaningful growth and exploitation. I believe in being willing to find that line—and then to look, listen, and learn—so that lifelong learners like us can engage in growth with greater awareness, agency, and care.
